The seed is the word of God; Christ is the sower; all who come to him will live forever. Matthew 13

Every human heart is a field waiting to receive life. Christ, the Divine Sower, never tires of scattering the seed of God’s Word. His purpose is not merely to teach us but to transform us into people who share in His own eternal life.

Christ walks through every age sowing the Word of God into the hearts of His people. He does not measure who deserves His grace or who has earned His love. Like the generous sower of the Gospel, He scatters His seed freely because the Father desires that all come to eternal life.

The seed is God’s Word; living, powerful, and filled with divine life. Every time the Scriptures are proclaimed, Christ Himself speaks. Every Sunday, He stands once again among His people, sowing His truth through the Liturgy of the Word and inviting every heart to receive Him.

The difference is never in the seed but in the soil. Our hearts can become hardened by disappointment, crowded by anxiety, or distracted by the concerns of life. Yet when we open ourselves with humility and perseverance, God’s Word takes root and begins transforming us from within.

The promise of the Gospel is beautifully simple: “The seed is the word of God, Christ is the sower; all who come to him will live forever.” Eternal life begins not only at the end of our earthly journey but the moment we welcome Christ into our hearts. His Word grows within us until our lives themselves become the harvest He came to gather.
